The image of he Leviathan has been created in a three dimensional process to add a surreal quality to the board. She carries many canon above and below deck, and her canvas is spread up to her topgallants. But beware of Her flying colors, The Jolly Roger!
All this is encased in beautiful golden and silver jeweled corner caps shaped like a compass printed in the corners of the board.
The board measures 16 inches wide by 12 inches tall and 1/4 inch thick baltic birch wood dyed sea blue.
Extra attention was placed into the creation of the details of our work. You can see the linked chain of the anchor, the bolts on the canon port lids, and even the cannon on the deck, and her helms handles.
She boasts well over 100 guns and could have stood as a ship of the line.

Located on the back of the Leviathan there is a antiqued reproduction of an 18th century sailor's map covering part of Port du Cap where many a dark hearted man survived by steel and strength.
This isle was also known as Hispaniola, the second largest island of the West Indies, within the Greater Antilles. During Spanish colonial times it was commonly called Santo Domingo. It measures 8.5" by 11" in size and is nicely detailed with forts, water depths, and a sailors compass.
